Aargh!! My VERY first tomato to turn ripe this season has been chomped on by a rat!!

At first the bite looked a bit suspicious - like a human bite. Perhaps a human the size of a TWO YEAR OLD. But after a bit of CSI work I saw tiny teeth marks on the tomato skin. Grrrr. I got my husband to set up a few rat traps under my tomato plants and corn stalks. I just hope we don’t snap any of the neighbour’s cats. Heh.
