Hey hey, so how much do I look like a trendy kitchen bench top? Or a mortar and pestle set? Haha!
Black and white marbled prints have been very popular this season. I was keen to try out a top or a dress with a marbled print design, as I wanted something a little different to floral or spot prints – which are all I seem to wear these days.
Like many of dresses from Keepsake The Label, it is a real standout dress! It is made from a thick poly fabric, which gives the dress a nice structure and unique shape. The dress has a two-layered skirt: a flare skirt on top, which flips around when I walk, and a pencil skirt underneath, which stops it being too revealing.
Although the dress is a ‘mini’ dress, it’s not really mini on me! I’m short! So the hemline is mid-thigh and I believe it sits at a very nice and modest length.
It has a sexy back (!) yet it still looks awkward when I try to twist around and take a snap in the mirror haha. I was afraid that my knickers would ride up and peek out at the back, but I was all good. No unwanted peek-a-boo accidents here.
Jokes aside, the dress was very comfortable to wear. So happy with it!
Keepsake The Label often comes out with very striking designs and prints, and I often find it difficult to choose which one I like best. I actually had my eye on this Keepsake Lace Dress too, but ah, I have too many lace dresses!
