Recently I was given a delightful opportunity visit the YesStyle site and go “shopping”, courtesy of YesStyle.

The site has lots of popular brands from Korea, Japan, Taiwan, China and literally hundreds of items for sale. So I spent a considerable time picking out a few items.

These are my picks:

Lilac coloured jeans, by Secret BB (Korean brand). These are more like jeggings than jeans. I love the colour!! I also like that they have a good stretch, and they were only $55.

Korean sizing is a bit different, so you have to make sure that you check all the measurements carefully. I’m usually a size 25 or 26 for jeans, but these were 27… and I was very nervous that they wouldn’t fit me.

But yay they fit me fine. In fact maybe the thigh width was still a tiny bit tight for me. I wouldn’t dare try a 26. Korean girls must be teeny tiny and don’t do any cycling :P

Secret BB is very girly and feminine. It offers lots of cute tops and shorts, and nice swimsuits!

I also bought the version in MINT!

Lilac tee by MoDn (Korean brand). This tee comes in 14 different colours, and in 3 shades of purple. I’m loving the purple ones and the blue-green one.

This top is a simple cotton tee, with a nice slim fit. It’s a good length (not annoyingly long or weirdly short). And good value for $18. I haven’t put it through the wash yet, but it feels pretty robust.

Faux Leather Biker Jacket by Catworld. I really like this jacket – I’m very happy with it. It’s definitely of the same quality as a faux-leather jacket from Topshop, ASOS or Sportsgirl. It has a nice, simple and casual design, with a nice texture too. Unfortunately this particular one is sold out.

Catworld is a Taiwanese brand, with a very romantic, youthful, girly, easy-wearing range. There is a huge range and all items are at an affordable price. Apparently it’s one of YesStyle’s best selling brands.

I thought I would experiment and purchase something a bit more fun and trendy (and something I wasn’t planning to   buy)… like these tiny Floral Print Shorts by Pippin.

They actually turned out better than I expected. The print, make and feel are all pretty good value.

I felt really summery, cute and YOUNG when I put them on!! Haha I might leave these for summer time, while hanging around the pool or beach.

These are the size SMALL, I’m usually a size 6 and they fit perfectly.

Pippin is a Korean brand that has a lot more street wear and fashionable casual wear. They have a large range and most of it is quite nice.

Lastly, I chose these Cut Out Sandals by Koo.

I actually ordered them in a separate order many weeks ago (they still haven’t arrived yet). So the photo above is not of me wearing them, they are from the YesStyle site.

I was looking for some sandals with a skinny toe strap and found these. Yeah, they were a *little* expensive, considering that they were not made from real leather. But I thought these looked really cool, with the thick ankle strap and the chunky mirror heel.

Then LATER I discovered that they were inspired by these Celine heels (shown above, photos from Celine website). Oh well, I’m still looking forward to trying them on.

Anyway, the brand Koo, is a Korean brand, has lot more on-trend street wear, that’s a little more edgy and cool. I really like this brand. Do check it out if you have time.
