This weekend, we have had an endless procession of Christmas parties, Christmas BBQs, Christmas lunches, and Christmas concerts. And I’ve been REALLY enjoying the madness!

Highlights:

My 5.5 year old fell into a swimming pool. A 17 year old, with a mobile phone in her pocket, dived in and grabbed him.

I ate the most amazing spiced cous cous and apricot salad.

My kids have watched Madagascar on DVD about 6 times in the space of 3 days.

The boys have been singing their own rude version of Christmas carols – “We wish you a Merry Poo Poo and a Happy New Bum”.

My 3.5 year old can now ride his bike without his training wheels!

My 5.5 year old sang in a church Christmas concert. Kind of.
