I can hardly believe it. I am back in Perth.

There is a deep layer of autumn leaves covering my backyard lawn, testament of our absence.

Perth is having a particularly cold snap. I flew in late on Sunday night, and the air temperature was only 7 degrees! And when I got up this morning to go and collect my sons from my parent’s house, there was ICE on the windshield of my car.

The warm, humid air of tropical Singapore seems to be so far away!
