I’m not sure where I got this play dough recipe, but it is certainly the best one I’ve ever tried!

It’s smooth, nice consistency, great elasticity, it’s not sticky, it’s non-toxic and it keeps for 3-5 months in the fridge.

Plus I just love it when it comes out of the pot and it’s still hot and squishy!

Ingredients
2 cups of flour
½ cup of salt
4 tablespoons of cream of tartar
1 tablespoons of oil
2 cups of water
food colouring (if you want)

Directions
1) Mix flour, salt and cream of tartar.
2) Stir in oil, water and food colouring.
3) Cook slowly until mixture thickens, stirring continuously. It takes about 10 minutes to thicken.

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. The play dough will keep for about 3 months.
