After pre-kindy today, I asked my 3 year old, “So Callum, what did you have for lunch today?”
He said, “We ate CRUFFLES. They were yum.”
“Wow! What are cruffles? Do you mean crumpets?”
“No.”
“Do you mean waffles?”
“No.”
“Are they round?”
“Nooo.”
“Are they long”
“Nope.”
“Are they brown?”
“Sigh. Noooo.”
“Hey Callum! What did you have for lunch today?”
“We ate spaghetti. It was yum.”
“You said you ate CRUFFLES!!” I blasted.
“Oooh, what’s a cruffle? And can we eat some? They sound yum.”
